What's the ambient temperature of the server room?
Check for dirty/blocked airflow vents on the system.

Re: DL386 G6 running a little hot
The ambient temperature in the server room is 69F. The airflow vents looked fine.
Attached you can see different temp zones, the Temp zone 29 shows it's at 61C.

Re: DL386 G6 running a little hot
Also, we├в re not sure where on the server the thermometer is located, it simply says ├в System Zone├в , and there is no refernce on the inside of the lid as to where it is or in the HP technical specs on the website.
Does anyone know?

He had the same Zone 29 issue and was able to resolve it through updating Firmware, Smart Start and the drivers.
