DL580 G1 Bootable Media Issue, Possible Array Failure
I am having a few issues with a DL580 G1 system. First, it does not seem to want to boot from any CD's, whether is be SmartStart 5.5 or 7.91, Boots maybe once in fifteen tries. Windows XP/2000 CD will boot more often but not always, seems to boot from Windows CD more often if all hard-drives are removed until after Windows starts loading setup files (yes, with all appropriate drivers slipstreamed in). Has P20 BIOS 12/17/2002. Unknown firmware version on array controller. Seems just to be the integrated array controller. DAAD could not find any array controllers, nor other diagnostic tools or ROMPaq utilities. Tried clearing CMOS, etc. Any ideas?
