DL580 G1 Noise
I am complete server noob and I have bought a DL580 for £35 pound...I just noticed that it is extremely noisy....I understand that there is no software/bios way to reduce the noise...Can I just uninstall some of the fans? There are about 10 fans inside...2 for the PCI..4 for the CPUs (I think) and 2 for the drives (I think) plus 1 for the power supply.....Is this an absolutely crazy idea? I would like to leave it with only two fans for the CPUs and the one in the powersupply obviously. Thx

Re: DL580 G1 Noise
I said I was a noob..I tried and I get a system notification that the machine is shutting down as some fans are not connected....If there is no other way to reduce the noise I will just have to sell it :(
