DL580 G2 BIOS

Hi,

I'm unable to gain entry to the BIOS utility of the server. At boot up , there is no instruction to press F9 to enter the BIOS feature as stated in the manual.

Please assist. Thanks.

Hello clement,
The F9 option does not come up rightaway. You have to wait till the array controller and the logical drive is initialized. F9 will come right after the system finishes scanning for SCSI devices.

We've waited the entire bootup sequence until loading of the OS, but F9 still did not appear.

Hi,

You don't get very long to make the choice but it should appear as Sunil says.

Try pressing F9 repeatedly after the Array controller and SCSI buses have been scanned.

With a bit of luck you should get into the configuration utility as expected.
