DL580 G2 SCSI BUS fault

i have a compaq DL580G2 server which equips addtionaly a hp6400 smart array . operation system is windows 2000.Today,when i start the server,system log note that "SCSI bus fault occured on stotage box0,port 0 of array controller in slot 6,which may result in a
'downshift' in transfer rate for one or more hard drivers on the bus'"
could tell me what is the reason and how i will
do ?

What a coincidence, I'm having the same exact problem today on my DL580 G2, I was told the all so familiar steps that I need to update the driver and firware on my raid 6400, then capture the AD log and forward to HP for review..
I'm not sure if this applys to you but it doesn't in my case.. Do you have SCSI II device attached to you 6400 controller, if so this can be the cause becuase I read somewhere that having mix speeds on your controller can lowere the card speed in this case to SCSI II speed. I don't have any only the ext storage MBS30DB with all Utra320 15 K drives..
hope this helps .. I'm yet to find a solution, please let me know if you do..

If we Diconnect the QUANTUM SDLT320
are we getting the same error infomration. Is that possible to check and update the controller firmware also with latest.
