DL580 G2 Smart Array 5i Partnumber
Hi,
I have a Proliant DL580 G2.
When I boot it up the POST doesnt show the Smart Array 5i, and it wont boot from its corresponding discs anymore, although it has worked fine until now. Now I think the controller is broken. In BIOS config you still can select to boot from internal SCSI array. Is there any way to check that the SCIS card is broken and what would the HP partnumber be for this SCSI board to this specific server.

Re: DL580 G2 Smart Array 5i Partnumber
Hi,
The SmartArray 5i is embedded on the system board on a DL580 G2.
If it is not displaying during the POST, you will probably have to replace the whole board, part number 231125-001 according to the maintenance and service guide here:

Cheers,
Rob
