DL580 G5 server Network interfaces

We have a DL580 G5 server, which include an embedded NIC (broadcom) with two ports, also we installed a new NIC (intel) which contain two ports. When starting the server, the installed intel NIC is taking the interfaces eth0 and eth1 and the embedded one is taking ports eth2 and eth3.

We need that the behavior will be in reverse, the embedded one take eth0 and eth1 and the installed one take eth2 and eth3.

Can anyone help here.

Thanks

Re: DL580 G5 server Network interfaces

In the RBSU under PCI device section, what we can do is modify the IRQ of the device. But this didn't help.

Are you linux?
If so, modify your /etc/modprobe.conf to specify what nic goes to eth-x
