DL580 G7 Memory Performance.
Hi All
I hade read as much info available in Quickspecs and userguides about the Memory guidelines and performance configurations.
Can someone tell me what the impact of installing 256GB (32x 8GB) in 4 memory Cartridges vs spreading this configuration out across 8 memory cartridges in Hemisphere Mode.
If the Optimal configuration using a CPU with QPI 6.4GT will run the RAM 1066Mhz. What is the impact on Memory speed if this is run on 4 Memory cartidges not in Hemisphere mode ?
The link below outlines the Memory guidelines a little clearer than Quickspecs.

Many Thanks

Re: DL580 G7 Memory Performance.
I answered my own question. I have found some performance testing done by Fujitsu on Nahalem EX Memory configuraitons. Please refer to the link below.
