DL580 Random Lockups

DL580 Random Lockups

We have a DL580 that randomly locks up. It will hang at a blank black screen. The server still responds to PINGS, however it does not respond to any remote commands (It appears the RPC service crashed). There is no information in any of the Compaq logs, Event Viewer, or any dump logs.

The server has a Smart Array 5300 Card, and Compaq 64/66 Ultra SCSI 3 Card.

Any ideas?

A few additional notes

1. Server is running Windows 2000 Adv Svr SP4.

2. The servers hard drives have been transfered to a different DL580 and the same problems exist.
