DL580 rebooting

Hi,
I have a new DL580 that will reboot itself everytime I try and install software on it.

I have re-installed the OS but the same thing happens. It doesnt matter what software, anything will cause a reboot.

Disabling ILo was suggested but that hasnt worked. Neither has upgrading the firmware with latest.

I have another exact same server and that works no problem ( same setup, OS etc ).

Any ideas??

Have you looked in the IML (Integrated Management Log) to see if that has any details of the reboots ?

Disable the ASR (automatic system reboot) from the bios and try again

IML is empty. I will try and recreate tommorow and see what shows in the logs.

what is frequency of restart. is it happen after a fix time interval or at a fix time.
or at the particular activity like backup.

yes diabling ASR is good option then go ahead and check with ASR.
