DL580G2 and Parallel option

Hi all,
I have a little problem.
I need to a parallel option for proliant in subject.
That is for a hardware dongle for a software product.
Can I use every Pci compliant adapter ? That's works with Pci-X standard ?

Does the software manufacturer have a USB dongle? I'm not sure which pci parallel port will work. Every pci adapter will not work.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
