DL580G5 and DL380G5 how to disable a SAN HBA

“Deactivating SAN HBA controller during the staging process”
This issue came up during the staging of the server.
Staging is not possible if a server is attached to a SAN and the LUN’s are already created. For the staging they need to deactivate the HBA before starting the process.
How can the HBA be disabled?

Under which OS?

One way I suppose, would be to simply pull the cables...
there is no rest for the wicked yet the virtuous have no pillows

hi,

F9 during POST - from RBSU -> PCI devices. If it is applicable, staging is a new word for me...
