DL585 and Numa Support in 2 Way. Works in 4 Way but not 2 Way?

I currently have 7 DL585's all dual 2.4ghz single core CPU's.

I run VMWare ESX 2.5.1 on all of the servers and i can not get NUMA to work when only using 2 CPU's.

ESX gives me an error about the SPRAT table conflicting with a previous table. If i install all 4 CPU's it works fine.

I have put a service call in with VMWare to find out if it VMWares end but i was wondering if it was the HP DL585 that does not work in NUMA mode with 2 CPU's.

Somthing i have just thought of, maybe it is the opteron setup that does not support NUMA in a 2 way situation.

I cant find anywhere about the DL385 supporting NUMA, as you will all know the DL385 is a 2 Way only server.

Just food for thought.
