I just recieved my first HP Server ever, a new DL585G1, that is supposed to be running i a few days as a ESX server. Now I just got the server and wanted to test it.
The server starts fine and the SCSI-disk start as they should. And then it just sits there.
The display (when removing the top lid) just says FF.
I have had it running 10 min like that, but nothing happens.
Anyone have an idea of what the problem might be?

Re: DL585 not booting and not even showing anything on the monitor
My "student" assembled the server. He had never had his hands on this kind og server. Neither did I. But I learned from it.
The rest of the memory will arrive tomorrow so that the server will have 10GB installed.
