DL740 and Hyper-Threading
I have 2 fully populated (8 processors) DL740s running Windows 2003 with Hyper-threading enabled. In Windows, one machine lists 8 procs and the other 16. Hyper-threading is indeed enabled on both, so why the disparity?
Thanks, Travis

Re: DL740 and Hyper-Threading
Please make sure that the BIOS is uptodate. Upon reboot go to F9. In advanced features just disable the HT save and exit. Upon reboot go back to F9 and re-enable HT. See if this makes any difference. Here is the link to update the BIOS just in case you need it.

Set this option to Windows 2003.
