DL760G1

I have been trying to flas the BIOS with both Floppy disk and Online ROM flash. Both time it has failed. During the BIOS flash the screen says the BIOS is the correct version and then it proceeds to update but eventially fails. The BIOS on the box id dated 02.16.01 and the version I'm trying to apply is (P46) Ddated 5.5.2003. Any ideas why it is not working. Attached is the Survey from the DL760.

Re: DL760G1

Have you tried to apply it after a cold boot?

Have you tried to apply the previous version first before applying the latest?

Re: DL760G1

Hi,

had a similar problem a long time ago with a Proliant 8500 (predecessor of the DL760). I managed to update the ROM by doing the following:
Cold boot
Press F10 to run System Configuration Utility
Select the ROM Update Utility
It should then ask you for the Rompaq disk

Hope that helps.

Thanks Stephen, I'll give that a try during an outage on Sunday.
