DLT Compatability
Are DLT 35/70 and 40/80 compatible with ProLiant 5000 servers? Are there any firmware changes which require applying? Is there anywhere I can cross reference compatibility of tape drives with legacy Compaq hardware, or do all drives work with all servers?

Re: DLT Compatability
Either drive should work, but its compatibility with the SCSI controller you have to verify. Also you may not achieve very good speed or backup rate with the inboard controller as it only operates at Fast-Wide SCSI-2 (20Mbps). You could purchase and install a ewer SCSI controller, but make sure its compatible with the DDT drive you plan to use. Good luck.
