Owaldo,

I guess you've looked at the obvious place

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/family/model/4307.html?submit.y=10&submit.x=4тМй=en&cc=us

And found the earliest Novell is 5.1..

Re: DRIVER NOVELL 4.11 PROLIANT ML 370 G3

I checked this out a week or 2 ago, and HP said the ML370 G3 does not support Netware 4.11.
I had to upgrade an ML370 G2 and put Novell 4.2 on it.

Hi

Is Novell still providing support for 4.11 ?

For the HP support pleae refer to the support matrix / ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/servers/os-support-matrix-310.pdf

Hi, Oswaldo

I guess U may need driver for a RAID Card and Network Adapter.

U may need early version Support Software for Novell├п┬╝ NSSD├п┬╝ , U may try to get a SmartStart CD before ver5.5, ver 5.0 should do.

assume that Ur SmartStart 5.5 CD is link to driver E:,
e:\cpqsuspsw\nssd\nwpa\*.*
e:\cpqsuspsw\nssd\nwpa\4x\*.*
e:\cpqsuspsw\nssd\network\*.*
contain files U need.

when U installing, at "DRIVE SUMMARY", press Alt+Esc to the console├п┬╝ type├п┬╝
load c:\nwupdate\nwpa.nlm
load c:\nwupdate\cpqshd.cdm
then switch back to installation screen, and
load CPQRAID.HAM.

of course, U need to modify startup.ncf to include:
load c:\nwupdate\nwpa.nlm
load c:\nwupdate\cqpshd.cdm

for network adapter, an Intel Pro 100+ will be easy to config, after U install the SP6 or SP9, netware will find the adapter and no additional driver is needed.

hope it
