DUAL PROCESSOR

How do i dedicate one of the dual proccessors on my ml370 G3 server to an application software installed on the server.The application software is called medusa (sybase)

ProLiant Servers have Symmetric Processors and it cannot be changed.

However, O/S's provide the means to adjust processes to processors.

In the case of Windows 2000/2003 you can adjust Processor Affinity.

It is important to know that you should be very carefull when performing these adjustments, because if not set properly it can severely affect the system performance.

I suggest that you consult the vendor of the software for advise.
