DVD/CD Combo in Compaq Proliant 5500?

Hi All,
Is it possible to replace the CD ROM Drive with a DVD/CD Combo Drive ... Is there an updated BIOS available for this purpose? Can I have more than 1 IDE device in this server?
Also wondering if Windows XP Pro will run OK on this server?

You should have no problem installing the dvd/cd drive. Just be carefull when you remove the cage(rack mount) that the cables are attached to the backplane.
XP Pro should work. Remember that XP needs a good amount of memory.
No BIOS update will be needed.
