DVD+/-RW problems, Linux.

Hello all,

I have a HP Proliant ML350 G5 running CentOS 5 Linux (which is, roughly, equivalent to RHEL5).
I don't manage to burn dvds with k3b, which is by far, the most powerful tool for burning things, nor with growisofs. I still get input/output errors. However, it can mount already-burned dvd+/-rw.

HP supplies progam Roxio to burn dvds, but it runs with Windows, but apparently offers no solution with Linux.

So, do you know what to do to make the dvd-burning device work ?

Thanks.

Re: DVD+/-RW problems, Linux.

Use a supported Operating System maybe? CentOS is not supported on any PRoliant server.

And I hope that the DVD burner is this one:
