Daily System Reboots - No Explanation

We have one particular server which is 1 of a 3 node oracle cluster that reboots alteast once a day.

DL360G6
Latest Firmware 9.1c
Redhat 5.5

We sent an SOSreort to redhat and they are seeing nothing. The ilo logs just state that the system restarted.

I am drawing at straws right now trying to figure out why this server is rebooting. We have 8 other servers configured the same way that are not rebooting..

Any thoughts?

Re: Daily System Reboots - No Explanation

Have you tried disabling ASR, to see if anything is reported into the console?

Hello,
anything strange in IML log, ILO logs?
No problem with cluster storage (SAN or whatever?)

Re: Daily System Reboots - No Explanation

Does this node have to be running?
Can you turn it off the clustering like SAN-network, Ethernet card or something like that, maybe even pull card out.

Does it reboot then?

I had the same problem. Pop the memory out and put it back next unschedualed reboot (or schedule one). Should clear it up.

Re: Daily System Reboots - No Explanation

I originally thought it could have been ASR but there were no logs in ilo to support it...

I found the following HP advisory:

This server in question is within the range of affected servers so I flashed the board and am bringing it back up to see if it resolves the issue...
