Damaged RAID-5 drive on g6
Hi,
I have a proliant ml350 g6 with a 3 Drive RAID 5 configuration. apparently one drive failed, how do I proceed with;
- Determining which drive failed (I think I know which drive it is.. but not sure)
- Adding a new drive and reconfiguring the server to be usable.
At this time the server is not bootable.
Any help will be appriciated.
Here is the error I see

Re: Damaged RAID-5 drive on g6
This is not a single failed drive.
There are probably read errors on at least 2 drives or even on all 3 drives.
Do you have a good backup?
Restore it now.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Damaged RAID-5 drive on g6
I am now running off a backup. Should I just get 3 new drives and do a fresh start?
