SolutionHere you go
You can check warranty start date and end date ( start date will be usually when the server was purchased ) , if you are looking for obsolence date you have to post the serial number and will get back to you, if you are looking for manufacture date the above links will help you as the base warranty will usually be close to the manufacture date unless untill not changed/modified by HP warranty team

Re: Dating HP (and other) Servers
On the warranty history site (kindly provided in the links of earlier response), there are certain servers for which a serial number is recognized, but the search response simply indicates "out of warranty" (as opposed to at least providing start and end dates of expired warranty which is useful for some basic product life information).
For those recognized serial numbers with NO warranty history returned, is there any other way to find server manufacture or shipment or purchase date?
Thanks for any response!
