Deactivating SAN HBA in DL580G8

I need to stage a DL580G5 to deactivate the SAN HBA in a DL580G5 or DL380G5. During the staging process the SAN HBA needs to be deactivated.
How can I deactivate the SAN HBA?
(the deactivation worked fine with the DL385G2 and DL585G2).
