Dead 8 port KVM switch
I have a Compaq 400337-B31 8 port KVM switch which was working fine for about 6 months. I recently connected a couple of DL380 G2 servers to this device and a few days later the video output died.
I returned the KVM switch under warranty. The replacement ran ok initially for a few days but again the video output has died.
I am not sure whether the introduction of the DL380's is related to the failure of the KVM switch - any advice gratefully received.
Regards,
Steve

Re: Dead 8 port KVM switch
We have no indication of a known issue between any model of server creating this kind of problem. You may want to check the cables used for the video and also we would recommend trying a different monitor.
We are here for a good time, not a long time!
