Dealing with an error! Please help me!

Some of the other days, I saw on the LCD display of the server's chassis the next error message:

DEVICE FAILURE
Chassis Name: PROLIANT 4-7I
External Storage Slot: 1
Bus: 1
Bus: 0
The server's type is Proliant 3000.
I presume it is a drive failure since I pulled out and pushed in one drive wich had a led coloured in orange and the problem dissapeared.
I wonder if enyone of you guys can give me alink to a site wich contains a more detailed explanation or, if you please, explain it here or on my email adress: svenkkk@yahoo.com.

This error points to a external harddrive
