I cannot get this machine to recognize any boot media after running the system erase. Does anyone know where I can get a detailed list of the dip-switch features?

Hello Louis,
Here is the info you are looking for:
SWITCH BLOCK - SW2 ON/OFF
Position 1 ??? Embedded Video Controller OFF
Position 2 ??? Configuration Lock OFF
Position 3 ??? Rack Mount OFF for Tower, ON for Rack
Position 4 ??? Diskette drive override OFF
Position 5 ??? Password disable OFF
Position 6 ??? Clear NVRAM. OFF
Note: SW2 is a six-position switch used for system configuration.
This pertains to Generation 1 ML370.

Re: Details on Dip-Switches, PROLIANT ML370???
Okay, that's good information. Do you know about SW1? Is this the dip-switch for CPU clock speeds? I'm pretty sure this is a rack mount, so I have switch 3 on. I've got a SmartStart and support Software Release 4.80 CD. At the moment I have the "Unconfigured System Detected" prompt up, which allows me to select an operating system. I want:
(4) Unixware
followed by:
(1) Linux
The problem is when I choose this, I still can't get any other control to the system. It reboots and then the system hangs with a little dash in the upperleft hand corner and beeps 3 times at me. I've tried different boot media and I'm not sure what the function keys Fxx do and at what part of system load do I select an "Fxx" key? Do I have to load the Software support CD in the cdrom? before it reboots? I'm not sure, but any other help would be greatly appreciated!
