Re: Determine Software Support Pack
If it's Windows based, you can go into the control panel and look for the Compaq (or HP) Management Agents icon. As the Product Support Pack generally updates these too you can Open this up and see that the banner along the top gives you the installed version details e.g. V7.10 etc.
You can then decide how old things really are compared to the latest V7.90 kit.
Of course certain drivers may have been updated individually but this works as a general rule.
I hope this helps.

Re: Determine Software Support Pack
also for Windows
-> go to Event Viewer
Source: Foundation Agents
Event ID: 400
Type: information.
you can see something like
"The Foundation Agents service version 7.9 has started"
you know 7.X where x is the version of the PSP

Re: Determine Software Support Pack
other way if you installed PSP only and not separate components is :
Start->Programms-> HP System Tools -> Array Diagnostic Utility .
At the top of the report you see :
Array Diagnostic Utility Inspection Report Version 7.x....
This is the version of the PSP too...

Re: Determine Software Support Pack
well Pac the point is for exmaple for PSP 7.9
Array diagnostic Utility Version is 7.85
maybe someone can think he has PSP 7.85 when there is not PSP 7.85
yes I know it is a correlation but just to clarify there is a little difference
