Device Home Page - Timeout
This happens on way too many of our servers and is VERY FRUSTRATING!!!
When we go to the HP System Management Homepage for the local server, it gives the following error:
A timeout occurred while loading data for the HP System Management Homepage which may result in missing or incomplete information.
When it finally loads, there are no details. Just says:
Overall System Status
no failed/degraded items
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Device Home Page - Timeout
Generally speaking there are two reasons for HP System Management Homepage timeouts:
1) You have incorrect Version Control Agent configuration (e.g. your VCA cannot find VCRM)
2) You have problems with SNMP configuration
Check you have "accept snmp packets from all hosts" in the security tab for the snmp service (or add your HPSIM server and loopback address to allowed hosts)
Check you have snmp community string defined
See this advisory as well
