\Device\Scsi\cpqcissm1 in Windows 2003 once a day
The device, \Device\Scsi\cpqcissm1, did not respond within the timeout period.
I have updated the SCSI firmware and driver. I have read other posts that indicate there is a bad drive, the BIOS needs to be updated, or the "Rescan Service" needs to be disabled. The BIOS is P51 10/10/2005. What is the reccomended approach? If there is a bad drive, how do I determine which is the bad drive?

Re: \Device\Scsi\cpqcissm1 in Windows 2003 once a day
Concurrent with the errors in the system log are drastic lag spikes. These servers are Exchange 2003 servers loaded on Windows Server 2003 SP2, fully patched.
Not adding fuel to the fire just pointed out that the problem is not necessarily an isolated one.
