Difference between 380G2 & 380G4 PCI slots
If I have 2 PCI cards running in a G2, will they also run in a G4?
I'm assuming they will. The cards are Brooktrout fax cards.

Re: Difference between 380G2 & 380G4 PCI slots
The G2s have 2 3.3 volt slots and 1 5 volt slot. If you have, at least, 1 of these cards installed in a 3.3 volt slot, then it'll work in the G4s slots.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: Difference between 380G2 & 380G4 PCI slots
Hey Terry, thanks for the response. I had found the differences by checking the specs. I was looking for a real world answer as to using a PCI card in a G2 and then using the same card in a G4.
What with them both being 64 bit it should be ok. I'm also concerned about the notches in the board and matching them up to the slot.
