Disable ASR und HP Proliant Servers

Hi there,

I have to disable the ASR function on round about +400 HP Proliant Servers.

Is there a way to do that over the CMD/Script?

Thanks - cheerio

Re: Disable ASR und HP Proliant Servers

I found this thread, but had not a chance yet to check it out: http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?admit=109447627+1271512756722+28353475&threadId=1387983

it seem's that besides the critical advisories (for instance http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01802766&dimid=1056415184&dicid=alr_apr10&jumpid=em_alerts/us/apr10/all/xbu/emailsubid/mrm/mcc/loc/rbu_category/alerts) there is a general problem with false ASR reboots on windows, at least thats what we have on all types on ProLiants with Windows, regardless of patch level, and in the forums there are some requests to disable ASR... :-(

Re: Disable ASR und HP Proliant Servers

thx for feedback - tried net-snmp, but did not work yet - everytime I get a timeout: no response from xxx...

Will read the documentation of net-snmp...

...thx for the link - the way with net-snmp works fine since I had modified the security configuration of the SNMP service...
