Disabling USB als disabled Keyboard!

My main problem was that the Proliant DL140 kept booting from the external USB disk. There is no system on and so it stopped and could not be restartet without firsat disconnecting the USB disk.

Trying to solve this, I disabled USB support in BIOS - and from this moment on it also ignored my keyboartd that is connected to the standard PS2 connector and NOT to USB!

Now I can not get back into BIOS to reset the USB setting, because it does not react on F10 any more.

PLEASE HELP!! How can I reset the BIOS setting so that I get my keyboard support back??

Re: Disabling USB als disabled Keyboard!

Hi,
first clear CMOs to enable the keyboard, location of the DIP switch 2 you can find :

http://bizsupport.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00795598/c00795598.pdf

then follow the steps in the resolution section :

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00810176〈=en&cc=us&taskId=101&prodSeriesId=1842838&prodTypeId=15351

check also similar issue and try workaround.
If same problem, update BIOS. I assume you already changed the boot order
