Disabling the Auto Server Recovery feature
We are looking at disabling this feature and relying on the OS kernel dump on some of our application server to use the debug info.
Does anyone know if disabling this is possible via a script or from the SIM server (possibly using the Replicate Agent settings util)?
Thanks.

Re: Disabling the Auto Server Recovery feature
These could be the 2 options,i don't thing you can use a script.
1.To disable ASR you must reboot the server, press F9 on bootup to enter the RBSU (Rom Bios Setup Utility). From the menu select "disable asr".Applies to G2 and above servers .
2.From the Ilo page.

Re: Disabling the Auto Server Recovery feature
I don't think you have to reboot the server in order to delete this.
If you go to the Systems Management Homepage of the server, you can disable it from Recovery and the Auto Server Recovery setting, select Disable.

Re: Disabling the Auto Server Recovery feature
Reboot is one of the option and not the only option.
