Disk drive light fail
I just got a new DL 380G6, i put in 2 146 Gigs disks and 6 300 Gigs sas drives, all drives are in use but there are no lights in the 4 drives on the right hand side, all drives are visible in the setup and i can configure all of them, the only thing wrong is that the drive lights are missing, latest firmware are installed ( 3.0 ) on the controller. any ideas?

Re: Disk drive light fail
Ensure that the SAS cable that goes to those 4 drives is firmly connected on both ends.

Re: Disk drive light fail
The HD lights are on the backplane it could be defect. I've seen it with other generation HP Servers.
I would call HP for support.
