Does HPE SFP+ 455888-001 Transceiver is compatible with HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-p 562FLR-SFP+ Adaptr

Hello All,

We are facing an issue with HP SFP+ 455888-001 Transceiver on server HPE DL360 Gen10 8SFF 2x6130 32G 408i AC.

Our server has and Optical card HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-p 562FLR-SFP+ Adaptr and when insert the HP SFP+ 455888-001  in the optical port of the server it seems this Tranceiver is not dected by our server.

Does someone know if the HPE SFP+ 455888-001 Transceiver is compatible with HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-p 562FLR-SFP+ Adaptr netwok card on HPE DL360 Gen10 8SFF 2x6130 32G 408i AC server ?

If not could you provide us the product code of a the HPE compatible transceiver to be used ?

It that means 455886-B21 and 455888-001 is the same product ? 

455888-001 is not listed in the quickspec you shared.

The transceiver 455888-001 is not being sensed on our server.

Is there any command or log to check what is going wrong ?

How can we check if the OS RHEL 7.6 or ILO5  see correctly the SFP+ boards ?

I can't find much info about the 455888-001 Transceiver, it is listed is partsurfer but neither 455888-001 or 455886-B21 have any equivalent parts.  There are no quickspecs for it which means it may have been discontinued.  There may have also been a firmware updated that made the part incompatible.  The only part I can "recommend" are those in the quickspecs

Is there any info in the iLO? This would be the first place to look

Under ILO 5 Web page > System Information - NIC Information,  we have this when  455888-001  is plugged into the server.

The Status is Unknow, what elese can we check to have more details ?

The ilo should be the best place to go, unless you can reboot and look in the BIOS but I susepct this may give you the same answer.

There are newier version of f/w for this adapter, you could try upgrading...
