Does Smartstart support assisted OS installation of linux (rhel/suse)

The quick specs for HP insight for proliant server - refer the following link -

states that assisted OS install is done only for windows.

Request folks to confirm that it is so

In there there are driver diskettes for Smart Array controllers for RHEL5 and SUSE 10/11

Can someone advise the process for loading a Linux OS with SmartStart.

My Customer advises that they only get option to install Windows with SmartStart 8.30 .

From reading the readme.txt on the SmartStart, it looks like you need to boot into Linux and then run a the Linux version of SmartStart.

This seems a little backward to have to boot into an os to run an assisted OS deployment.

has anyone done this, can they outline the steps involved.
