Does a ML570 G2 server use 68 or 80 pin SCSI drives?

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a Proliant ML570 server that did not include any hard drives. I would like to purchase some drives for it, but I'm not sure if it needs 68 or 80 pin SCSI drives, and should they be U320 or U160 drives? I've searched and searched but could not find the answer to the Pin question, and I'm not too sure about the drive type either.

Thanks again,

Dennis

Ok, so the number of pins does not matter?

Thanks!

Re: Does a ML570 G2 server use 68 or 80 pin SCSI drives?

I mean all of them (recommended by HP for that server) are 80 pins and also

"The 80-pin connectors are just 68-pin connectors with 12 extra pins for
power and SCSI ID selection. The 80-pin drives are meant to be plugged into
systems such as raid boxes which have a backplane with 80-pin connectors."
