Double network card with same IP?

Hi everybody,
I have a HP ProLiant DL380 server, with 2 network cards. Currently they have different IP addresses, one is used normally and the other is for failure cases of the first card. But how can I assign the same IP address to both of them, so that if one of them is down the other gets activated automatically? Is it possible? Is there any specific HP software to manage it?
