Downgrade SAS disk firmware

Hi, 

I actually have a Proliant G9 server with ESXi installed. As far as I know I need SPP 2017-07-01 bootable ISO in order to upgrade SAS drive firmware. The software will give the most recent one for the drive but... What is the procedure to downgrade this firmware to previous versions?
