Downgrade windows 2003 nic driver on DL380G6q
Hi,
I want to downgrade the NIC driver on a DL380G6 runing Windows 2003 Enterprise.
I want to install cp007676.exe but even with the /force option it won't allow me to do this.
I also tried psp 7.91 but it doesn't list the NIC driver as an installation option. cp007676.exe is part op psp 7.91 but it probably isn't detecting the NC382i.
cp007676exe is listed under the revision tab when downloading the driver for a DL380G6 so I assume it is compatible with this server.
any ideas?

Re: Downgrade windows 2003 nic driver on DL380G6q
Hi wobbe,
First try uninstalling any existing drivers for your NC382i. Reboot and if you are prompted with the Install New Hardware wizard, simply instruct it to use the drivers you unpacked from that executable.
good luck
