Downsizing Disks
I have a DL360 with 36GB Mirrored disks, data size is only approx 9GB.
One of the drives has failed, and i was wondering is there any way to replace it with an 18GB then rebuild the data and replace the other 36GB with another 18GB.
I have a lot of spare 18's and no 36's btw

Re: Downsizing Disks
Hi Mark,
This is not possible. The controller will not event attmept to rebuild on the smaller drive. It must be replaced with a drive of at least equal size.
Thanks,
Jake Zeeman
