Hi
Got this error on a Proliant ML530 G2. 1. What does it actually means? 2. What would be the best course of action to take?
Thanx in advance
Pieter

Solution
1.) The Error message is basically stating that the battery on the array accelerator(BBWC) is failed, meaning needs to be replaced. The Array accelerator (Read/Write cache) will be disabled till it is replaced.
2.) However depending on what controller you have this could be a false message and fixed via a firmware update on the controller. SA-6400, and SA-641 Have this issue with firmware and false error message about the battery being failed.

Re: Drive Array accelerator battery failed
Thanx for the speedy answer. Yes the firmware is out of date.
