Drive Array
I have a 14 bay drive array attached to a 431 controller on an old Proliant Pro server. I want to move the drive array to a new DL360 G2 server using the same controller. Once I move the array over and install the driver for the controller, will the new server retain the drive arry disk configuration? If the disk on the array is a volume set (D:) will the new server recognize the disk as it is or do I have to re-config the disks and restore data to the array? thanks.

Re: Drive Array
Best this is to move the drives with the 431 array to the G2 server .. reboot and make sure you have the same configuration. Then install the driver for the 5i within the OS and move the SCSI to the 5i controller reboot to the SS CD ..run the ACU ..make sure the Array configruation are correct . .then boot the OS ..
