- Does the standard HPL drive cage include the mounting devices for the disks?
- Or do they come with the disks itself?
- Can they be bought separately?
- Is it possible to use non-Compaq disks?

The hot-plug drive cage has open drive bays to support hot-plug drives. The hot-plug drives are pre-fitted into a hot-plug carrier which is totally self-contained and has everything needed to mount the drives into the bays in the cage. You simply slide the drives into the bays and use the latch to lock them into place. You can only use non-hot-plug drives in the removable media bays which are located behind the front bezel towards the top left hand side of the server above the hot-plug drive cage when mounted in a rack.
