Drive Failure Notification

I'm installing a ML-350 with 5 x 18Gb Hard Drives using various software raids with Windows 2000. Have no problems with the system when it's works or even when it fails. The problem I do have is that the system will continue working even after a total failure of any one hard drive, but it does this without telling anyone about the fact that it's working with 4 and not 5 hard drives.
Basically I'm looking for a way that the server can do something when it loses the function of any drive. It could be short during the boot process or go down during normal use.

Any help or pointers? Thanks in advance.

Re: Drive Failure Notification

From what I understand, you want notification of failure...correct?
If so you should look at install Insight Manager.
