New set of ultra320 10K HP drives all with the same 404 spare part no. Raid 5 set with new 641 raid controller, new 2003 server install
Usually on other servers IVe installed when a
read/write action happens on the logical drive all the Leds of the drives flash together in unison. One of the disks on this new install the flash of the LED is not at the same time as the others.. it seems to flash in a completely different pattern.
IS this anything to be concerned about ?

Re: Drive Leds on ultra320 hot plug drives during disk access
If all the leds are glowing in green (normal) color then no need to worry. Just go thru the attached document for SCSI HDDs Leds status.
It will help you.
Thnx
