Drive firmware corruption on drive hotswap - DL360 Gen 9
We have had two recent cases with Proliant DL360 Gen 9 on replacing a failed system drive in a RAID-1 setup where the remaining working drive has failed with a reported Firmware corruption when the new drive is installed. The correct failed drive has been removed in both cases and on insertion of the replacement drive the server BSODs.
These are standard HP SSDs on DL360 Gen 9 (2016) Win Server 2012 R2 and have been running without issue for 18-months.
Has anyone had this experience and found a solution?
Regards,
