Drive light Will Not Illuminate

I have a new DL 160 with two SATA backplanes. On the first backplane I have a 72 Gb drive (not in RAID) for the OS. In the second spot on that controller, I have a 146 Gb drive. On the second controller I have another 146 Gb drive. The two 146 Gb drives are in a hardware RAID 1. The RAID setup went fine, I have verified through the configuration tool that the RAID 1 is present and both drives are being recognized. Why would the one drive not light up?

so??? you have 2 controllers in that server?

which ones? how did you cable them?

1 HDD does not have lights but the other 2 HDDs yes? Am I right?

Hi. Yes, you are correct. Two drives light, the third, on the second backplane, does not. They seem to be cabled correctly. I will check the documentation that you have suggested. Thanks and I will keep you posted.
